ASHADI EKADASHI FESTIVAL BEGINS 2013

Marking the beginning of the three day Festival sponsored by the Sathya Sai Seva Organisation (Maharashtra and Goa),Kulwant Hall witnessed this evening a unique musical offering entitled Divine Heritage by the Balvikas children from the twin states of Maharashtra and Goa Declaring that our real heritage is the Divine Heritage, the presentation was a depiction of the diverse cultural heritage of Goa. Beginning with the original legend, the tale connected to Lord Parashurama, even as the presentation progressed.Children in colourful costumes, from the state danced forward presenting an array of unique festivities with detailed explanation of the legend behind each festivity..
