PROGRAMA CULTURAL EN PRASHANTI NILAYAM (8-10/2011)

Ashram cleaning and cultural programme by Sri Sathya Sai Seva Organization, Odisha.

Prasanthi Nilayam, October 8, 2011: Today morning the Odisha Parthi Yatra group, consisting of Bala Vikas children, youth and sevadal volunteers  took up the noble task of cleaning the Prasanthi Nilayam ashram premises and other chores.

They also held a traditional rath yatra for Bhagawan from Shivalayam (His birthplace) to the Vidyagiri Arch, representing the folk culture of the state.

In the evening, there was a dance-drama performance by the students of Sri Sathya Sai Vidya Vihar, Baripada, Odisha entitled 'Konark'. The skit was succeeded by a devotional music programme by the Sai Youth of Odisha entitled, "Sai Symphony". The programme was followed by Bhajans. Sarees and clothes were given to the participants. Prasadam was distributed to all.
