Cultural programmes by Sri Sathya Sai Seva Organisation from UK and Tamil Nadu, India
Prasanthi Nilayam, October 7, 2011: The Grama Seva programme undertaken by the staff and students of the Institute concluded successfully yesterday. The Trustees wish to extend their appreciation for the help rendered by the concerned Revenue officials of all the three mandals of Anantapur and to the Police force of the Anantapur district.
This morning there was a performance by youth from United Kingdom who have been part of the Annual Grama Seva ever since its inception. The programme started at 0800hrs with Vedic recital, followed by melodious instrumental bhajans and solo songs. This was followed by group songs, bhajans and distribution of prasadam.
In the evening, there was a dance performance by Bala Vikas children of the Sri Sathya Sai Seva Organisation, Tamilnadu followed by a drama by the Youth group entitled, "Rama Raajyam Sai Samraajyam" The drama included a video presentation on screen of Darshan granted by Bhagawan. After the programme, safari clothes were offered to the participants and prasadam was distributed to all.
